The Aeroflow copper embossed gaskets are designed with sealing beads to conform to the header or exhaust manifold sealing surfaces. However, mis-matched gaskets (such as a D-port gasket on anoval header) will cause leaks because the embossment is not in complete contact with the raised weld bead of the header.
